Back in 07, Bob met an executive from Talkback Thames, the biggest independent TV production company. Fortunately for us once more, he loved games. We stayed in touch and when the opportunity to work on the pilot for a new TV show came up in July 2009, we got a chance to pitch.
Being that we were the games composers with no history with Talkback, it was suitably gratifying to get the call saying that we'd won the pitch process with our title tune. Hoorah!
So, it's our first fully fledged TV show for the BBC. It's a spoof comedy game show called 'The King is Dead', starring Simon Bird from 'The Inbetweeners'.
We're scoring the show now, it'll be filmed between Feb & March 2010 and currently scheduled to air on BBC3 sometime during April. We've managed to blag our way into allowing us to watch some of it being filmed at the BBC, excited, we can't wait!!
