| Enough
about us, what about the music?
We simply cannot believe the reception that this
has received, first from the look on the guys faces at Sony
when we first took in the final recorded score to the guys
at Silva Screen records (who are a BIG film soundtrack record
label!) to the reviews we have read – have a look, we’ve
quoted a few here. This is what gave us the idea to try and
sell a few copies ourselves and give the punters something
extra by personalising it.
The score is divided into 5 sections
each with its own unique musical identity; from the raw violent
sound of Solum, the tranquil beauty of Aquis, the Russian
/ French sounding Aetha, the Egyptian laced Volca all wrapped
up in the serene thematic ideas of the main characters Jen
& Scree found in Nexus, there is something for everyone!
The music was performed by the 77 piece City of Prague Philharmonic
Orchestra and 32 part chorus. Soloists include the incredible
voice of Soprano Michaela Srumora, Jaraslava Eliasova on Piano
& Celeste and Pavel Becherovka on Alto Flute. The score
was orchestrated and conducted by Nic Raine and produced by
James Fitzpatrick (both film score veterans with at least
20 years experience behind them!). The CD contains 20 tracks
with a running time of 61:36.
So, what does it sound like?
(hear examples)
Well, if you like big Hollywood epic
fantasy soundtracks, this is your cup of tea. If you like
romantic orchestral music, this is right up your street, but
don’t take our words for it, have a listen to the mp3s
and judge for yourself. We wrote it, we’re bound to
be biased.
We have 500 copies of the soundtrack
which we will sign, personalise (the name we will take from
the name you order the soundtrack under) and number.
“I have heard
many modern game scores over the past few years and sincerely
place this one at the top of the charts"

NOTES ON PAYMENT SYSTEM
The online payment system
we've opted to use is Paypal. We along with our web design
team investigated a number of alternative methods of payment
but found that the costs of using such a system would have
meant hiking the prices of each CD by at least £1.50
each which we just weren't keen on doing. (Some systems want
a £10 monthly charge and 10% commission!) I apologise
for the convenience caused if you haven't setup a Paypal account
before, I myself hate filling in forms just to buy something
online but hopefully you'll find it worthwhile. I've just
joined and it was fairly painless, a 1 page form, credit/debit
card number, security and that's it. I suppose the only benefit
is that once you've done it, you'll never have to do it again
and if the blurb is right that over 50,000 websites use it,
I think it's fair to say that you may well use it again! Thanks
for putting up with this for us, I sincerely hope that you'll
enjoy the soundtrack as much as we do.
** NOTES ON POSTAGE & PACKAGING
Standard
delivery means exactly that! However, like all ‘standard’
mail services, it’s not guaranteed hence why we have
given you, the consumer, the choice of opting for Royal Mail
Recorded Delivery. That way at least you
will be sure that the package will arrive safely but it does
cost more which is why we have left this (and the risk) entirely
with you. Something as prized as a signed personalised CD
of our music shouldn’t be left purely to chance so we’d
suggest that if you _can_ stomach the additional cost you
do ?
